Feature #66495
closedHook for clear opcode cache
0%
Description
It would be nice to have a hook when the opcode cache is cleared.
This would be usefull to send a signal to multiple servers running behind a loadbalancer.

Can you elaborate on how exactly you would use such a hook? How exactly does your "multiple servers running behind a loadbalancer" scenario looks like and how is such a hook going to help?

I was thinking about an aws private cloud behind an ELB. If opcache is cleared I would like to call some AWS_CLI Scripts and trigger opcache clear on all running instances.

AFAIK in 8 LTS this is now coupled to the "clear all caches", where you can hook into and do custom calls. Can you check if this is sufficient for your needs?
