I updated a composer Installation from 7.6 to 8.6 by composer update.
During the Update also the symfony/console was updated from 2.* to 3.*.
My own commands using ConsoleOutput::select or ConsoleOutput::askAndValidate are throwing an exception now:
Maximum number of attempts must be a positive value.

Problem is $attempts = false in ConsoleOutput, should be set to null.
