Description
the table sys_file_processedfile contains after cleaning the table only the images from the requested BE-page with empty identifier and name NULL. So this means cleaning up the table does not fix the problem.
FE image generation works fine.

I had the same issue. For me it was due to a server configuration problem where imageMagickIdentify did not return a proper width/height for PDF files. I suspect https://review.typo3.org/#/c/56622/ to be the culprit

Can you still reproduce this? I was trying to reproduce it but unable to do so. The bug with missing width/height from PDF was fixed afaik in the meantime.
