Recursive Delete in Pagetree not possible

I can not confirm this on 9.
In case the user checks in his settings "Recursive Delete(!): Allow ALL subpages to be deleted when deleting a page", pages with subpages can be deleted in one go without problems.

Also in my 2nd TYPO3 instance: It's not possible if I configure the recursive delete.

I cannot confirm it after a short test with TYPO3 9.5.4
- I used a non-admin user
- I used the D&D area to delete a page with 4 subpages

OK, I have found where the problem is
- it is possible to delete a page with subpages with the context menu
- it is not possible to delete a page with subpages with drag and drop : the drop area is missing if a page has subpages.

- Active recursive delete in the backend user settings
- Clear all caches
- Reload the backend
- Recursive delete with drag and drop is now active.

Delete with drag and drop happens to work (AFAICS) on 9.5.13 - before trying I cleared the browser's cache (hard reload).
Could it be a cache problem? Or, at worse, some nasty race condition?
