Description

If the website is configured in TypoScript with 'spamProtectEmailAddresses = ascii' and you create a page of tyoe "Link to External URL", choose the protocol "mailto" and enter an email address as url, the link in the front end is broken. The url look like this:

https://domain.tld/mailto:info@eud.adventist.org

Looks like the complete link is ascii encrypted and not only the email address. The mailto protocol is missing.

A workaround for this problem is to create a second page of type "Shortcut" that points to this page of type "Link to External URL" and hide the page of type "Link to External URL" from navigation.
