Description

Hello! I hope this feature request is correctly placed here. I implemented typo3 myself and use it often on a company level. The improvements on V8 are enormously useful! One thing always did and is still bugging me.

As an editor, when editing a page and drag&drop a content element, the page reloads each time. This full refresh is very time consuming (on bigger pages), even more so when an extension is involved that sets the html anchor somewhere (or on top). Complex pages take multiple seconds to load, not included the time to scroll back to the element.

Is there anything planned to change this? It would improve the backend experience so much! Thank you.

Hi and thank you for your report.

Do you think that it could be considered a duplicate of #78931 or #84364 ?

Hi Riccardo, oh yes it is very similar and implementing AJAX would be the solution to it. Is this planned to do?
