This is broken in v10 since the introduction of dependency injection in:
https://review.typo3.org/c/Packages/TYPO3.CMS/+/58255
Using:
serialize($this->objectManager)
Results in the following exception:
(1/1) Exception Serialization of 'Closure' is not allowed
