Description
One of our customers has a lot of redirects where the source path includes the file extension. This redirects (ending with .html or .pdf)
are leading to the 404-page and not to the URL specified in the target.
There should be the possibility to specify the file extension in the source path.
/examle/example.html => 404
/examle/example => Redirect

Unfortunately I was not able to reproduce that with TYPO3 v10.4.7-dev with the settings shown in the following screenshot below.
Can you please share your settings or add a screenshot of the failing scenario? Thx in advance!
