Description
For some reason the repository update failed and my default repository has disappeard. So there is no repository left. And looking up where to find a t3-repository and adding it manually is not very comfortable, isn't it?
(I don't know if this is a result as the update doesn't complete.)
So could you please add at least one (unremovable) default remote repository? Or an update button to retrieve a list of other remote repositories from a server?

Did you add the table row to sys_ter?
Putting this static data in should display the main repository. Or is it that one, which is lost now?
I tried to update the database before but I get the following error when updating via tha new em:
Table 'typo3_makler.sys_ter' doesn't exist[{"tid":"9","action":"ExtDirect","method":"saveExtensionConfiguration","type":"rpc","result":{"success":true,"data":null,"html":"\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
This is shown in the extDirect-Exception window.
(MYSQL + DBAL enabled)
Also the gray overlay is not removed.
This realy is a dbal problem.
I deactivated the dbal extenions and the update works. Also the repository is back again.
I tried to update repository list (dbal stil disabled),
I get the following result: No update needed, though there are no extensions in the repository and the extension list has never been updated.

i agree that this display isn't updated correct. is it filled when you reload extension manager by clicking on the module link?
Good guess, after reloading the whole em the list is filled and was updated correctly.

The reporter has a working solution. Is there anything left in this ticket that should be solved?
After performing the update to next version this didn't happen again. So I think this is resolved.
