Description

In one of our websites, we had trouble with typo3 4.1.6. With IE, a link that uses JavaScript did not start. If we replaced the link by a direct link it worked again.

In 4.1.5, everything works fine. So the new version 4.1.6 produced this bug.

a little bit more information would be helpful. how does the link look like, any error msg in firebug,.......

The error only occurs in IE, while firebug is only available in Firefox.

More information: in IE I get at a special position the link http://.../index.php?id=79&no_cache=1&L=1. This is very strange because no_cache is usually 0 in our TYPO3 program and we do not use a language for L=1 (just default language German with L=0).

At the same position, Firefox looks for the right link http://.../index.php?id=79&an_id=2236

I cannot give you more. We need a working website, so I cannot pull it down for you testing it. I run it with 1.4.5 - that's ok. 4.1.6 makes the trouble.

IE 6+7 create this link as some kind of bug. No further information is possible because the whole problem arises after some non-official login within the program. Sorry for that. You must get around with the supplied details.

Bernd, If your'e not willing to supply more details (eg the JS involved) we cannot help you. In the meantime please update the bug subject. It is supposed to describe the bug, yours is't better then "It doesn't work".

Resolved, no change required:

- Issue lacks information of what actually goes wrong.
- No feedback for nearly a year.

Please open a new issue with proper description if a problem still exists in recent versions.
