History/Undo not works on image elements

Description
If you delete an image in an image element (not the content element) and undo this with the History/Undo function, the image is not restored and a error message appears:
Warning: filemtime() [function.filemtime]: stat failed for /var/www/uploads/pics/... in /usr/share/typo3/typo3_src-4.3.0alpha1/t3lib/class.t3lib_befunc.php on line 1729
When deleting an image typo3 delete the copy in /uploads/pics, but on undo it don't restore/recreate this file.

A display of the bug is uploaded in the typo3_43b1_bug.PNG file.
It's really annoying and I would say it the error handling should be less intrusive.

The issue is very old, does this issue exists in newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (4.5 or 6.1)?
