Bug #28943

Pages under 'extendtosubpages' access are not viewable in view module.

Backend User Interface
Description
I'm not sure if this is expected behavior, but I think not. If a parent page is under usergroup access control and has its extendtosubpages flag turned on, then child pages are not viewable in the view module. A lot of mechanisms are in place to be able to show hidden and inaccessible elements in the view module, so I think this is a bug.

You are right this sounds like a bug.
This problem also exists if a page is hidden and the extendToSubpages flag is set (tested with Typo3 4.5.12). In this case the page in question is accessible in the view module but not its subpages ("The requested page was not accessible!"). Normally they all should be accessible if you're logged in.

Bart, IIRC you need to enable the adminPanel.
So just to clear this up:
You enabled the admin panel and the pages do not show up?
I think I meant the view module in the backend, not the frontend.
We are talking about Web -> View, right?
