Description

When a content element title contains an ampersand (&), it cannot be searched with the Backend search module unless one enters "& amp;" in the search field.

Furthermore, the result list shows the title with "& amp;", thus double-encoded.

Actually the problem I have in this install is that the text is to be found in the bodytext, not in the header

Hi,

does the problem still exists within newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (6.2.9)?

Seems solved in 6.2.9
This is what I've done:

1. create 3 content elments (Text)

1. Title: "Content &left content" ; content: Lorem ipsum
2. Title: "Content &right content" ; content: Dolor sit amet
3. Title: "&Try"; content: Try me

Results:
a) in the list view, the titles have & and not &
b) if I search "&try" or "&left" or "&right" the results are shown
