Feature #31636

popupwindows have hardcoded window-name FEopenLink
Added by Bernd Wilke about 13 years ago.
Updated over 4 years ago.
Description
if you use a popupwindow in a (typo)link [¹] you can't provide the new window with a window name. So it's not possible to handle more than one popup-window.
So it is possible to provide further parameters for the popup-window it should be possible to provide an individual target-window-name instead of the hardcoded 'FEopenLink'.
[¹] links like: <link 10 600x400>opens in popup</link>

- TYPO3 Version changed from 4.5 to 4.7
Indeed this is something that cannot be configured yet, but should be a nice feature for 4.7.
It is still an issue on both TYPO3 CMS 6.2.14 and 7.4-dev (latest master):
adding a couple of links to the pages with ID=2 and ID=3 using the following typoscript:
page.60=TEXT
page.60.value=hello world
page.60.typolink.parameter = 2 400x300
page.60.wrap=<p>|</p>
page.70=TEXT
page.70.value=hello world2
page.70.typolink.parameter = 3 400x300
page.70.wrap=<p>|</p>
the popup name parameter is always "FEopenLink", hardcoded.
Moreover, it seems that version 7.4 adds also a target="FEopenLink" attribute.
Tested also with 8.7-dev (latest master) - same as on my comment n°2
The issue is still present on 10.0.0-dev (latest master), but with a slightly different behavior:
The code:
page.60=TEXT
page.60.value=hello world
page.60.typolink.parameter = 2 400x300
page.60.wrap=<p>|</p>
generates this link:
<p>
<a href="/my-page-2" target="400x300" onclick="vHWin=window.open('\/my-page-2','FEopenLink','width=400,height=300');vHWin.focus();return false;">hello world</a>
</p>
so the second parameter is taken as a target; this behavior is present also on 8.7.24 (and I suspect on 9.5.5, too but I've not tested it)
