Bug #33383
closedAdd Comments when Publishing
100%
Description
After an Editor publishes a Content Element to the Live-Stage, an added comment does not show up in the sys_log table, in fact it doesnt get saved anywhere in the DB.
I would prefer the same behaviour like moving an Element to the next stage it -> the comments gets displayed and will show up in sys_log.

Indeed, the logging while publishing could be streamlined to be more useful.
Here's an example of a new content element which was created in a workspace (20:33:39), later sent to "ready to publish" stage (with a comment by Ernesto, 20:33:56) and at the end published also with a comment that does not appear in the logs (20:34:07):
Also note that the rising of the stage mentions the comment, but it does not seem to mention the affected record UID's, which might also be useful.
Also note the strange [4_0], [1_0] etc "Action" names. Don't they have some better names? :)

The basis for a solution is already in the fix for http://forge.typo3.org/issues/26615
I will update the patch for that issue to add the storage of the comment.
