Description

It should be possible to shorten the Link or (even better) to send a mail in HTML format. For compatibility reasons I guess it would be the easiest solution, to add a typoscript flag "sendHTMLMail" and add a template for that in EXT:felogin/template.html

The related issue #19329 is just merged into 4.7 as a hook to manipulate the message just prior to sending it.

About the short URL: the option to shorten URLs in text mails is disabled for security reasons.
