Radiobutton select difficult due to clear.gif
Added by Jochem de Groot almost 12 years ago.
Updated over 9 years ago.
Description
Dear Usability Team,
I noticed that radio buttons in the backend form (TYPO3 version 4.5.22) are partially blocked by clear.gif. This results in difficulty to select the radio button.
See the attached screenshot for more information.
Kind regards,
Jochem de Groot

Can someone validate this?
It's technical, so this is an issue for the core tracker.

Yep, I can confirm this for Chrome and FF on OSX.
The issue can be witnessed in the gender radio select of tt_address records, see the attached screenshot.

Hi,
this issue is very old, does it still exists with newer versions of TYPO3 CMS (4.5 or 6.1)?
Hi Alexander,
I can confirm that this issue is still relevant for the newer versions of TYPO3 CMS 4.5. I've just tested it in version 4.5.27 (latest 4.5).
Best regards,
Jochem de Groot

irrelevant when you're done with the bootstrap stuff, right?
I close this ticket as it is not present in TYPO3 6.2.12 (as you can see from the attached screenshot CATTURA.png, the radio buttons are well-separated and there is no clear.gif image (the extension is tt_address))
If you think that this is the wrong decision or experience this issue again, then please write to the mailing list typo3.teams.bugs with issue number and an explanation or open a new ticket and add a relation to this ticket number.
Looking at the #47711 I discovered that I closed this... for the wrong reasons :) the clear.gif image is still there, but it has no influence on clicking the radio buttons because it has z-index:0 ... luck?
