As has been mentioned on the mailinglist this should read "... there is only the option to write your own postprocessor to ...". (Part of the sentence seems to have got lost during edit.)

So to make it clear: There is no redirect-option yet.

Patch works nice but needs absolute urls as redirect setting. Perhaps this should be passed trough typolink.
