Description

(All typo3 versions since ages)

Hi!

Gambling around with this Admin Tools, DB Check and found this:

  • Section Database Relations:
It gives you a list with all the files that are not referenced by any TCA-field any more.
    These files could be deleted.

-> Goto ftp and delete them on after on.....

Feature: There could be 2 Buttons introduced: A Trash and a delete button.
  • Delete: Yes Iam sure what I do, kick it...
  • Trash: The file is moved to uloads.bak/folder/file in case there is something wrong with the TCA fields or e.g. files referenced by templaVoila are not stored in TCA-Records, but in some XML-File, invisible for this check. So you could move them back.
The folder upload.bak will have the exact structure like uploads, so ist more easy to restore the file in their subfolder. Maybe the subfolders itselfe could be copied to folder.bak...?

Thank you for your work on TYPO3!

I like it :-)

Christian.

The feature has been removed in TYPO3 v10, as we only work with FAL-only code. Will close this one.
