Hello Core-Team,
since years it is not possible to easily add/modify Marker-Array in fe_login. For now you have to XCLASS Plugin or work with ObjectMapper in TYPO3 6.0 to modify this class on your own. I think a new hook would be much better.

there is only the $GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['EXTCONF']['felogin']['postProcContent'] so xclass is not needed but certainly this ext should be moved to fluid instead sticking to pibase and the limited features
