Description

For records that have a link to a parent (of the same type), it would be great to have a "hierarchical view" in the list-module. The easiest solution might be to just have some indention (based on the hierarchy-level) and a proper sorting.

It might be interesting to be able to switch between a flat list and a hierarchical list. Maybe allow a default-setting to indicate hierarchical or flat view.

+1 for the idea. But maybe we should reconsider a overall better user experience for the list view. There are a view extensions out there that try to make working with records easier, maybe we should also have a look at those

As Martin stated 4 years ago, I think we should rethink the list module as a whole instead of adding "this or that" feature, especially as something like this ticket will require major rework.
