Description
currently the installtool has this nice check for incompatible exts, sometimes this check fails to detect the problems, so it would be nice to have an easy way to disable packages from there

Can you describe your scenario? Which problem is not detected?

can't remember right now, but due to the packagemanager it was not as easy as with 4.x by just removing the extension from the filesystem.
IMHO it was a problem, which occured dynamically based on the mode constant and was not detectable by the installtool ...

Due to low demand / low priority I'm going to close this issue for now. If somebody wants to implement something like this, feel free to add a new ticket.
