Hey Bjoern,

do you have ANY clue how to handle this?
Buttons are being rendered by JS for whatever reason - this passes my capabilities

The whole form wizard is a mess. My colleague Sebastian has spent at least 5 days on the issue #69394 (https://review.typo3.org/#/c/43324/). As far as I know he has removed the AJAX process and streamlined the loading. The task is nearly solved. We just have to tackle one last problem (form tag inside form tag). We've got a solution for it in our minds but right now the reponsible people are on holidays and not available.

IMHO if we get somehow #69394 done it's easy to solve the saving process. If you want we can discuss the problem tomorrow morning on Slack :)

We're having another EXT:form sprint in January and we'll take care of this one. Maybe we cannot use the Module Template API but at least the look and feel will be the same.

With the new inline form wizard for TYPO3 8, we don't need to tackle this issue.

@Mattes: should we "fix" this for TYPO3 7?

Discussed this during the UXWeek. We decided to close this issue and concentrate on new features ;)
