There are still many uses of FlashMessage->render() throughout the core. This was briefly discussed on slack and I would vote to replace the use of the deprecated function in 7LTS as well, as it tends to fill the deprecation log.

Remove FlashMessage->render() and also FlashMessagesViewHelper->renderDiv()

When this bug gets fixed, please remember to remove the htmlspecialchars, too. Otherwise the special chars get converted twice. (see #72948)
