Sprint Focus:
On Location Sprint
Description
In 6.2.19 it is still possible for editors with a language restriction to edit the page properties of the default language in the "Page"-module.
See screenshot attached. (In this example the default language has been renamed via TSconfig mod.SHARED.defaultLanguageLabel = English (UK))

I tried the following test with both 7.6.12 and 8.5.0-dev (latest master)
- set up a website with 2 languages: Italian (0) and English (default)
- set up a user with language restriction (only language 1)
Results: for both Version 7.6.12 and 8.5.0-dev¶
- Page module > Columns mode > there is no "edit page properties" icon in columns > language: default
PROBLEMS¶
1) There is no page edit icon on Language > English, too!
2) It is still possible to edit the page title in default language (using the pencil near the title)
3) The "edit page properties" icon for the default language is still present in list module, so it is still possible for the editor to edit the page in default language
- Sprint Focus set to On Location Sprint
I agree with Riccardo, the following problems exists on:
current 8.7 (8.7.20-dev):
- There is no page edit icon on Language > English, too!
- It is still possible to edit the page title in default language (using the pencil near the title)
- The "edit page properties" icon for the default language is still present in list module, so it is still possible for the editor to edit the page in default language
current master (9.5.1-dev):
The second problem of 8.7 has been resolved for the current master.
