Description

It would be really nice to have a possibility to turn on automatic "URL Segment" update for if page has been moved in page tree section or if slug information like page title has been changed.

Redirect from old to new could be created automatically for Redirect module, or user could be prompted if one wants redirect to be created and for how long.

Right now it seems like it's once too often the slug get's not updated cause of being just forgot about it and partly cause it looks inactive (grayed out).

Some more cases where's it's really easy to forget about manual slug update:

  1. Changing page title in page tree
  2. Moving page to a different subpage in page tree
  3. Creating page with drag and drop it's easy to misplace the page in the tree, moving it later may leave one with wrong "URL Segment" at the first place
