Description

Hello guys,

i had discussions with UI specialists and some customers about the new ExtMgm.
I want to give you some feedback.

First: good job.

But there some minor glitches :)

1. Why not merging the tabs (local/remote) and offering some more intellegent filters:

-  ALL (all TERs which are checked in the Setup)
 - TER
 - Local installed
 - Local Loaded
 - Update available
 - Special TER1
 - Special TER2 (das sollte sich dynamisch anpassen wenn ein neuse Privates
 - TER hinzukommt)

2. Highlight extensions were a new version exists in extmgm grid

3. add a setting which "Filter from 1." will be opened directly after loading extmgm:
f.e. "update available"

4. for those who don't read all the stuff about the new extmgm it would also be nice to hint about the scheduler task ;)

I would like to add some suggenstions:

- a "last extension update/upload" column
- an "update" button - at the moment nothing is clear concering that topic... sorry...
- an easier way to install old versions of the respective ext. At the moment this function is only called when clicking the install button of an ext, which toggles its actual state. That's annoying...

I also think that the targeted version should be TYPO3 4.5 since that one is an LTS...

--> it's in already, but well hidden, go to remote tab, search for the extension and use the contextmenu.

This is one reason why i would like to join remote and local grid into ONE! - just to make it consistent.
