In 4.4, the only thing an editor could do here was to add a comment for the reviewer. Now he can unselect recipients and add additional recipients. It would be great to be able to configure the layer, so an editor again only gets the comment field and the buttons.

Since the recipients are sent to the ExtDirect server from the layer, probably they could be set in a hidden field. The list of recipients could stay as "disabled" checkboxes, but since you can now select groups for everything, that list could also become quite large when a lot of people are involved -> switch to turn the listing off

If you like this feature-request, i can try to come up with a patch for configuring the layer.
