Preview of a versioned element shows page with the "live" element

Description
When I create a version of an element and try to preview the changes it always shows the live version in the popup window (or two times the live version in the split screen)...
The user has admin rights. The problem occurs in all types of workspaces (live, draft, custom)...
I can reproduce this bug with three different Typo3 installations (4.2.6 and 4.3.1.)
I saw this once working in a training video with Typo3 4.0...
When I try to preview a versioned page, I receive the error message "The requested page didn't have a proper connection to the tree-root!" (but this was already reported in november)

Could you please add some more detailed information on how to reproduce? Which module/function/clickmenu are you using? Or even a screenshot on the action you are doing in BE? Thx.

To reproduce the problem, create a new version of a page content element (Pressebilder) in the versioning module (B : attached file bug.jpg).
If I click on the magnifier in the new version (D), I expect a preview of the page with the new headline (Neue Pressebilder), but I still see the original version with the old headline (Pressebilder)
The link format of the preview looks fine to me
http://www.whatever.com/index.php?id=16&ADMCMD_vPrev[tt_content%3A33]=3216
but it shows the original page content, not the new one...
