I feel that the link to the update script is not visible enough in the new Extension Manager. It's better than before - where the "UPDATE!" menu item - could remain unsuspected inside the menu, but it's not still not very visible IMO. It's very important to run the update script when it exists (and is active), so it should be given more prominence. Maybe with a flash message.

I totally agree and would suggest to target TYPO3 4.5, since that is a LTS.
