Description

With the ExtJS based Extension Manager, (using Firefox 6 and earlier on Mac) I can't update / save the Extension Configuration right after installing.

This happens as follow:

1. I install the extension.
2. DATABASE NEEDS TO BE UPDATED -> I click the button "Make Updates"
Database is updated.

3. Button "Make Updates" appears again, without furher description (cf. Screenshot labelled "Step 3") -> I click it again

4. I'm taken to the Extension Config where I can select global options for the extension -> But I can't click the "Update" button (cf. Screenshot labelled "Step 4") here. It reacts on the CSS but nothing happens.

5. So I have to open the Configuration Tab in the Extension Settings and do it there.

While there's nothing terrible to this, it does feel a broken, mostly as users might tediously set the options but can't save them there.

I am trying that with rtehtmlarea. Interetingly it does not prompt me to set config after installation. It just says "Close window". But I can go to the extension details and adjust properties from there.

Was something changed already?

Tested it with FF7 on Windows and works without a problem. Page gets reloaded with new settings saved. Can anyone reproduce this on a Mac with FF6 (has anybody not installed the automatic updates yet? ;-) )?

Same here for FF7 on Mac. Auto-update struck. I will have to try & install Lion as a virtual machine.

had the same here on windows 7 64bit with chrome.
my current workflow for installing is:

install, make updates, form appears, clicking the button is possible - but no reaction -> close window open settings via grid ...

Any specific extension used here? I tested with "some" extension locally but could not reproduce. Please let me know which extension you used...

mhmm, now it works (pulled the latest master). perhaps there was a little javascript problem ...

testconfig (working):
- Chrome 14, Win7 64bit
- Chrome 16, Win7 64bit
- Firefox 7.0.1, Win7 64 bit (bricks are missing in grid, firefox loads extremly long in comparision with opera and chrome)
- Opera 11.51, Win7 64bit

All Browsers saved changed options in textfields ;)

But the mask (i would expect due to every load just comes the first time!)
