Description

Hi!

I am opening this issue following a request from Stefan Neufeind in issue #39416. The problem is pretty much the same as there: HTML5 audio doesn't work unless you complete the tedious workaround mentioned by Werner Trunk:

  • Insert media video
  • switch on html 5
  • add Video sources for HTML5
  • leave path empty
  • save
  • switch to audio
  • insert audio file path per Element Browser /FAL

Result: html 5 audio canvas, not tested with flash.

According to my own tests in TYPO3 6.2.14, Flash works, but the HTML5 audio canvas does not.

mediace has been extracted from the core and is not needed anymore using CMS7. however it can be now found at github ant the issue has been moved to https://github.com/FriendsOfTYPO3/mediace/issues/2
