Visualize being in a workspace by coloring the top bar
Added by Steffen Gebert about 14 years ago.
Updated almost 11 years ago.
Description
Currently there's no clear indicator that a user is working in a workspace (except in the page tree..).
I got a screenshot, where the top bar is colored orange. I just wrote the necessarry CSS for it.
Sb. has to find a smart way to make the changes active (by adding a tag to <body>
? don't know..).
Just place workspaces_topbar.css
and mask.png
in typo3/sysext/t3skin/stylesheets/visual/
to give it a try.
Lars, feel free to adjust the shadows yourself ;-)
Files
Please use this version of the CSS file...
hi, i already had a short look at it today, we will wait until the pagemodule/framset cleanup is in place.
thanks for providing the css, the rest i will take care of :)
- Subject changed from Visualize beeing in a workspace by coloring the top bar to Visualize being in a workspace by coloring the top bar
- Assignee set to Steffen Gebert
I love it! What I miss would also be displaying the name of the currently selected workspace. People were used to see the current WS name in the old select box, which was transformed into an "icon".
Displaying the name discretely somewhere in the altered coloured header would be nice.
Looks great in Firefox and WebKit browsers - IE8 breaks it ;(
