I get one JS-Error: TYPO3AdminPanel is not a Constructor

And the html sends firefox into quircks-mode.

There are some issues you'll find in this thread.

I do not plan to work more on this feature. The reason is that it was a job task, which is complete now and I have no more time allocated to it.

I hope HCI team approves the change or takes over and makes them better. Attached is a version for 4.5 rev 9162.

Thanks for the work, Dmitry. If someone takes over and does some modifications or adaptations, would you at least be available for some reviewing and maybe voting in the core list?

Would it help if we get some sponsoring for you to "finish up" this task, also in interaction with the design team?

I am sure lots of people would love to see this feature finished for 4.5.

Fixed target version, always set target to final release, use "Fixed in Version" for specific preview releases...

Attached v2 patch builds on Dmitry's work and attempts to incorporate feedback from the design team.

The v2 zip file contains several images to be placed at typo3/sysext/t3skin/images/arrows.

v4 patch was committed to trunk in r9924.
