If a user uses e.g. a 13" mac book and opens the install tool and selects an item in the 2nd row, it is really hard to know that there is cntent opened below. See screenshot
A solution could be to add a bit of scrolling to the content.

I agree with you.
However there is a little arrow on top of the content and this arrow shows up or moves according to which item you click. So a user might notice that.
However a greater contrast ratio or a different solution would probably be better.
