Links to email are not created automatically

RTE (rtehtmlarea + ckeditor)
Description
Hi,
With the ext "rte_ckeditor" and the plugin "autolink" the links on email addresses are note rendered automatically.
It would be great to take also this in account (like the old behaviour with the RTE).
Thanks
Eric

I don't know if this is what you want, but I've added the plugin, so that pasting an URL or an email address is automatically linked after pasting.
For me this is only working if I explicitly paste a url or a mail-addy. I don't know if this is the main need of this issue

Thanks for adding the autolink plugin. This is an improvement but linking while typing is the more important feature. Unfortunately the current version of CKEditor 4 is not able to link URLs and email addresses automatically while typing. This feature will probably be available in version 4.11: https://github.com/ckeditor/ckeditor-dev/issues/1815#issuecomment-405965905
So, I guess we have to wait until CKEditor 4.11 is included in TYPO3 or someone develops a custom solution/backports this feature.
For anyone who's in need of a quick solution I wanted to let them know that I've just created a tiny extension that's providing the feature of autolinking mail addresses to the ckeditor.
And yes, it's heavily inspired by the autolink plugin that's already in the core ;-)
