Bug #41411
closedRTE: Cursor jumps to first letter with Chrome 22
100%
Description
With the new Chrome Version 22 it is impossible to write anything in the RTE. When you enter some chars, the cursor will jump to the first letter in the current line.

I can confirm this in 4.7.4. as well. This is very annoying! Editing anything becomes literally impossible.

It seems to be more an issue within Chrome. I checked the current nightly build (Version 24) and it works fine again. Would be good, if someone can check this also on OSx

The current beta version seems to have the issue too.

Yep, I can confirm, that the nightly build you posted fixes this problem under Mac OsX =).

I can confirm that the problem seems to be solved with the nightly build of chrome (version 24.x) in TYPO3 version 4.5 and even in version 4.7 (under Windows7).

Can confirm this as well under W7 x64 with T3 LTS latest and 4.7 latest. Upgrade to Chrome 24.x canary solved the problem.

For some reason that needs to be further investigated, the current selection is broken in Chrome 22 when undo/redo snapshots are taken. Removing undo/redo buttons from the toolbar works around the issue.
